Scope of application

Unitized transformer substation (КТП) is designed to receive, convert and distribute electric power of three-phase alternating current, 50Hz power frequency. Its voltage can be 6;10/0,4; 0,69 kV.

The outdoor unitized transformer substations (КТПН) in block-modular case consists of

КТПБМ in general situation consist of:

• The high voltage cabinet with the gas self-generating switch of HVА type, fuses of PКТ type or upon request with vacuum circuit breakers of ВВ/TEL type, or with other types of circuit breakers upon request;
• Power transformers;
• Low voltage switchgear with LV cabinets and the drawout automatic circuit breakers of ВА type, «Elеctron», «Masterpact» and «Compact» («Merlin Gerin»), or with other types of circuit breakers upon request;
• Block-моdular case.

Design of КТПН(БМ)-SVEL

КТПБМ is one or several block-mоdules, installed on the foundations, with all assembled electrical connections within a block(s).
A block-modular case serves as a protection for the component parts installed inside it where all operation conditions of КТП are maintained. Structure is an entire metal welded frame, covered on the top and outside with “Sandwich” type panels.
The block-modular case is equipped with lightning, heating and ventilation. Inside the case there is an auxiliary cabinet for heating with the automatically kept temperature during the cold season.
