Operational Interlocking Cabinet is designed to accommodate and supply operational interlocking of high-voltage switching devices. It includes interlocking and signaling control systems. Based on information on the state of logically interconnected switching devices, the ШЭ-СВЭЛ-ОБ cabinet determines the permissibility or non-permissibility of operation of one or another device, thus preventing incorrect switching operations. With monitoring system, design allows to record and send data about current consumption, busbar voltage and switching devices state.

The cabinet simplifies the work with the equipment installed inside, allows to visualize the status of the connected circuit. When mimic diagram / LCD panel installed (specified in Configuration Data Sheet), it is possible to centralize control of switching devices, display their current position directly on the mimic diagram.

  • Input of analog and discrete signals
  • Display of control and signaling commands to the mimic diagram (LCD panel)
    • Information exchange with external systems via Ethernet 10/100 Base TX, Ethernet 10/100 Base FX interfaces using specified exchange protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP, IEC 60870-5-104, GOST R IEC 60870-5-103, IEC 61850)
    • Display of the current status of the electrical circuit of the power facility on the monitor
    • Registration of events and buffering of transmitted information
    • Diagnostics of performance of technical means installed in the cabinet
  • Organization of power supply of operational interlocking circuits is carried out from a DC source of the system capable of autonomous operation for at least 2 hours
  • Distribution by operational interlock circuits, assuming galvanic isolation of consumers from inputs.
  • Redundant power supply of operational interlocking circuits. In case of power loss at the main power source, the system provides transfer to the backup power source.
  • Isolation monitoring of operational interlocking circuits. The installed interlock busbars are provided with earth fault supervision.

Operational Interlocking Cabinet assembly includes protection cabinet itself (metal case made of all-metal sheets, automation devices installed internally and bushings for cable connection). The set also contains spare parts and other components (keys, indicator lamps, etc. according to passport). Operation documentation is also attached.

Cabinet`s design itself is widely variable. In particular, mounting base and protective screen can be supplied with the delivery; the size is specified in Configuration Data Sheet.

Cabinet`s case can be made with one or two doors. Two-sided cabinet has front and back doors. This type of cabinet has mounting panel and detent, which ease the access to internal equipment. One-sided cabinet has one door located on the front wall of the cabinet. The back wall in this case is blind. Keys are supplied with the doors, 1 per cabinet.

Front door can be either solid or with a viewing window, which allows to monitor equipment condition without door opening. In case of mimic diagram, it locates on the front door with sensor readings placed on it.

Standard size of the cabinet is 2000х800х600mm and 2000х600х600mm. Mounting base or protective screen, when included in the design, can be 200mm or 100mm. All sizes are standard. Deviations from specified values can be implemented upon customer`s request.

Cable input can be located below or above. Auxiliary supply voltage =220V, =110V or ~220V. Panel is delivered with mimic diagram if it is specified in Configuration Data Sheet. The customer can also specify the number of operational interlock sections.

Control panel may include:

  • control key and switch position indication,
  • control mode selector,
  • control key and circuit-breaker position indication (earthing blade),
  • circuit-breaker position indication (earthing blade),
  • multifunctional measuring device,
  • digital voltmeter with voltage selector switch,
  • OLTC control with position indicator (resistive sensor, selsyn transmitter, BCD).

Depending on the communication interface with the automatic control system type, different communication cables can be used. For MODBUS-RTU, GOST R IEC 60870-5-101-2006, GOST R IEC 60870-5-103-2005 RS-485 cables. For MODBUS-TCP, GOST R IEC 60870-5-104-2005 and IEC 61850 (MMS, GOOSE) standard Ethernet 10/100 BASE-TX or fiber optic Ethernet 10/100 BASE-FX. ТХ cable provides a reliable signal transmission range of up to 100m, fiber optic FX cable increases this distance to 2km and has carrying capacity 100MB per second.

On request, the customer can specify additional requirements for the case, in particular, specify the required degree of protection.
