Late March, 110kV Substation Azino commissioned in Kazan, and doubled the quantity of digital substations in Republic of Tatarstan.
SVEL Group, JSC shipped two heavy duty power transformers with split windings and on-load tap changer, 40MVA and 60MVA, respectively.
These transformers ensure solid noise protection as an utmost characteristic for the equipment installed at a residential area.
This new substation replaced the decommissioned Substation Azino upon the end of their 35-years life cycle. Main distinction of the new facility is the digital solutions capable to effect online performance review of all systems and, therefore, prevent potential failures to maintain trouble-free operation of all equipment.
