The tour took place as part of the Career Time event, as SVEL Group became the first of the Ural enterprises to open their doors for students.

Second to fourth years’ students of electrical engineering faculties viewed the entire cycle of oil-immersed transformers manufacturing and dipped into the company`s activity. Among the visitors, there were those who visited the production for the first time in their lives, and those who has already been at the internship programs at other SVEL’s sites.

‘During our excursions, we divide visitors into mini-groups of 4-5 people, so that everyone has the opportunity to ask questions and get all the nuances - this is essential, especially for students’, commented Anna Starodubtseva, PR, SVEL Group.

Alexey Levenskikh, a third-year student of Power&Electrical Engineering, noted that such tours are very illuminating for students, for example, Alexey used to associate production with labor intensity and cluttered workshops, but at SVEL, there is a huge clean area, which impresses by its size and sophisticated arrangement.

All those wishing to visit SVEL production sites can sign in the excursion at the Career Time event, which is held at Yeltsin Center on November 26, 2022, 1pm to 2pm.
