VT Type 3NOL(P)-SVEL-6(10) is applied at AC switchgears, both indoors and outdoors, voltage class up to 15kV as a bought-in component. In a three-phase circuit, transformer is normally connected to phase voltage.

VT is designed for:

  • transmitting signal to instruments and protective, alarm or control devices;
  • electricity metering;
  • isolating secondary circuits from high voltage.

VT are made for boreal climate and tropical climate, and environment class 2 as per GOST 15150-69.

Design

Support-type cast resin VT (3NOL(P)-SVEL-6(10)-4) is a single-phase, three- or four-coil electromagnet induction unit with grounded X terminal of the primary coil.

Main secondary coil (or two main secondary coils, in case of 3NOL(P)-SVEL-6(10)-4) is intended for electricity metering, while additional secondary coil – for safety, power supply of automation, control, alarm, and insulation monitoring.

HV terminal A of the primary coil is connected to the top surface of transformer. Secondary terminals and ground primary terminal X are located on the bottom part of cast unit.

Secondary terminals are sealed with protective cap.

Upon customer’s request, VT can be made with two rated primary voltages, and secondary side tapping. Such VT Type 3NOL(P)-SVEL-6/10 is designed to combine two rated voltage in a single unit: 6kV and 10kV.

New type of VT is perfect at a switchgear’s cell of any voltage class. Also, having such VT in stock can be helpful in case of failure of both 6kV or 10kV transformer.

Upon customer’s request, VT with reusable kick-off safety guard (SPUE-SVEL-10) is made as ЗNOLP-SVEL-6(10). Also, ЗNOLP-SVEL-6(10) can be made with inverting HV terminal А.
