Hermetically Sealed Oil-filled Transformers by SVEL proved their reliability in operation at various climate areas, from Far East to North Caucuses. As of today, SVEL ships this product to 35 regions of Russian Federation.
In 2024, upon launching series production of hermetically sealed oil-filled transformer, the operation experience had started to be collected. This equipment is intended for outdoor facilities. The majority of the sites with such transformers belong to the severe climate conditions. For instance, at the coastal part of Primorsky Region, equipment is subjected to strong winds and high humidity. In Yakutia, in addition to winds, extreme frosts and temperature fluctuations of up to 100 degrees are normally experienced. Transbaikal areas, e.g. Krasnoyarsk Territory, Yugra and Yamal, and the European north of Russia are known for long, cold winters, while the mountains of Dagestan, the transformers are to withstand so-called thin air. In all cases, SVEL’s products ensure stable functioning regardless the existing external conditions.
We painstakingly study the equipment behavior during operation and listen to our customers requests. This is an invaluable experience, as, in the next two years, the company expects to increase supplies of this type of transformers. Upon obtaining the attestation statement Rosseti (Russian Main Grids Company), this opportunity is open for us. In particular, the sales in Siberian regions will undoubtedly boost. The guarantee of reliability of our hermetically sealed oil‑filled transformers can be our full‑cycle production, advanced manufacturing equipment, and quality control, at all stages.
