The objects of patent rights registered in June and July 2026 were majorly the design elements of instrument and dry-type cast resin transformers, as well as design features of SVEL’s hermetically sealed oil-filled transformers. Eurasian patent was obtained for the multi‑core winding wire used in manufacturing of primary windings of SVEL’s CT (current transformers) with a voltage rating from 6kV to 35kV. This invention introduced several years ago allowed solving the problem of excessive rigidity and lack of flexibility of wire during winding process, as the wire is now getting more flexible, elastic, and resistant to mechanical damage. In addition to Russia, the protection document is valid in Armenia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan, provided that their annual renewal. Previously, such patent was obtained in Uzbekistan, only.
A Russian patent is issued for active part of a transformer and a method of their assembling. This refers to a new method of attaching rails holding the winding in place under the influence of short‑circuit currents. The solution increases the reliability and quality of SVEL dry‑type cast resin transformers and simplifies the assembly.
Also, in eight countries, the industrial prototype of the transformer’s cover with the shaped Bend (6 configurations) is patented now. This part is applied for SVEL’s hermetically sealed oil-filled transformers, and it is just the part to make the product recognizable. Intellectual titles on this part is now under protection in Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan.
