Starting March 6, 2026, SVEL Group’s Testing Center is entitled to conduct a significant scope of qualification and type tests OLTCs (On Load Tap Changer) and transformer bushings, as well as disconnectors under icing conditions. These new capabilities have been added to the existing testing methods for disconnectors, oil-immersed and dry-type cast resin transformers, hermetically sealed oil-filled transformers, reactors, and switchgears.
More than that, the Instrument Transformer Test Station has confirmed their qualification and expanded the accreditation scope. The changes affected current transformers (CTs) in terms of accuracy classes and rated current.
SVEL Group continuously improves the equipment of the laboratories, expands the range of their capabilities, confirms their capabilities in testing, while undergoing all the necessary procedures regulated by Rosakkreditatsiya (Russian Accreditation Authority). This enables the company to carry out testing and verification of both our own products and those of third-party manufacturers.
