First exported batch of RG-SVEL-35 Disconnectors will be operated in Armenia.
This equipment was delivered to 35kV Substation that was intended to energize a new meat processing plant in Yerevan. The commissioning of the plant is scheduled for middle 2025. The customer picked SVEL’s products out of three Russian manufacturers of high voltage equipment.
‘Our products are well-known in Armenia, partly owing to the Technical Council that we host for our potential customers. Cooperation included more than just our transformers. We have been making the disconnectors less than five years, but the level of confidence in this segment is rather high as we offer an optimal match of delivery time, price and quality’, says Yekaterina Lapteva, Product Marketing Expert.
It is good to note that SVEL Group has obtained the patents in Eurasian Patent Office and Uzbekistan for two technical solutions related to the disconnectors, in May 2024. One of those shall protect the disconnector from icing, while the other one shall strengthen the performance of the female contacts.
