SVEL Group shipped a batch of dry-type cat resin transformers for the company manufacturing mineral wool, lately built near Karaganda City. The investor, one of the leading Russian manufacturers of construction materials, plans to commission the plant in 2026. At the beginning, the investment estimated at over 11 Billion Rubles. The thermal insulation will be supplied not only to Kazakhstan but also for export: to Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, China, and Mongolia. The auxiliary transformers supplied to the plant are of the rated power of 3,150kVA and 2,500kVA, voltage class is 6 kV. By now, the installation is completed. In 2025, in addition to the mentioned company, more SVEL products were shipped to the gold and chromium plants, the manufacturers of railway equipment, several power generation facilities, the largest ice cream factory in Europe and the former Soviet countries, and others, in Kazakhstan.
