Description
This CT is intended for:
- transmitting signal to instruments and protective, alarm or control devices;
- electricity metering;
- isolating secondary circuits from high voltage.
CTs are made for boreal climate and tropical climate, and environmental class 1 as per GOST 15150-69.
Creepage distance III as per GOST 9920.
Operating Position - vertical.
Design
CT Type TOL-SVEL-35 III is a single-phase support-type cast resin current transformer.
CT may have up to 5 secondary coils, each on their own magnet core. Primary coil terminals are connected to the side surface of CT. Secondary coil terminals are connected to the bottom of CT’s cast unit and covered with a protective cap.
Secondary terminals intended for measuring and metering are covered with a protective cap.
Contact panel is covered with a protective lid to ensure protection from precipitation. To ensure tightness, upon customer’s request, CT may be made with sealing collars for cable output at the contact panel.
Design Features
CT is made with one or several ratios, and ability to switch on secondary side.
Upon customer’s request, CT can be made with increased rated load of the secondary winding, increased thermal and electrodynamic current.
Upon customer’s request, CT may be made with an extended creepage distance as per GOST 9920-89.
Upon customer’s request, CT may be made with non-standard dimensions, as well.
CTs for differential current protection can be manufactured subject to a special order.
