SVEL Group Completed Substation for Chita Solar Power Plant

SVEL Group has commissioned 10/110 kV step-up single-transformer substation to ensure power supply from Chita Solar Power Station (Zykovo village, Zabaikalsky Territory).

SVEL Group has completed a turnkey project with their own equipment, including: 110 kV outdoor switchgear, 110 kV circuit breaker, 110 kV disconnector, current and voltage transformers and other components.

Open-type 10 kV switchgear combined with the control panel consisted on the e-house, 14 cells switchgear cubicles, two dry-type case resin auxiliary transformers, relay protection and emergency control cabinets, etc.

The entire project took 6 months. Key factors that allow implementing any project in such short time are: high share of equipment made in-house, experience in engineering of solar energy objects, production in parallel with development of documents, vase experience in manufacturing power grid equipment regardless their complexity, competence in project management, highly qualified personnel, availability of verified business processes, allowing to choose reliable contractors, and attention to customers’ requests.

Chita Solar Power Plant occupies about 100 hectares. The capacity of the first stage was 20 MW, the second stage of 15 MW will be commissioned in the second quarter of 2022. The investor and the general contractor of the project are the establishments of Hevel Group.
