At Tikhvinsky Carriage Making Company, commissioning of the second 63MVA transformer by SVEL at completed. Now both transformers are successfully installed at 110kV Load-Center Substation that energizes the whole plant.
This plant is resource‑intensive demanding the uninterrupted supply of electricity. In terms of performance, the plant is a leader in their segment in the Russian market, with the capacity up to 20,000 carriages per year.
SVEL’s equipment is also operated by the largest manufacturer of passenger cars — Tver Carriage Making Company: our dry‑type cast resin transformers ensure power supply to the painting line.
