A new high-tech production site for manufacturing distribution transformers up to 3,200 kVA/ 6kv to 35 kV will be opened at Khimmash District, Yekaterinburg, at the existing production complex on Alpinistov Street.
SVEL designs oil-immersed transformers in accordance with the current requirements of grid companies in terms of energy efficiency and safety, and in compliance with the design documents of key customers.
In March-April 2022, testing of prototypes are planned, and in Quarter 3, it is planned to start serial production of the entire product line. SVEL Group wants to make up to 13 thousand oil-immersed transformers per year, which will be possible due to the most advanced equipment and comprehensive in-house logistics. The system of finished product warehouses will ensure delivering transformers in the shortest possible time from the available stock.
The new production facility is going to be the ninth in Yekaterinburg, and it is supposed to establish 120 workplaces.
