The official commissioning ceremony took place on a special day – Power Engineers’ Day – as celebrated in the RF on December 22. SVEL Group delivered two 40MVA/110kV double-winding power transformers to Gorny Shchit Substation.
This substation reopens after reconstruction that included adding reliable and trouble-free power supply for the fast developing suburbs of Yekaterinburg, as well as power reserve for energizing new consumers, in future.
