SVEL Group manufactured and supplied four dry-type cast resin power transformers with a capacity of 2500 kVA for a voltage of 20 kV to ensure power supply to the Sun of Moscow observation wheel.
The transformers are manufactured in a small-sized design with the obligatory parameters for operation in crowded places: i.e. reduced noise and vibration.
Fireproof materials and the automatic control of cooling modes guarantee the level of safety in accordance with sanitary standards.
The observation wheel is planned to be launched before the end of the summer season. The Sun of Moscow, which is located at VDNKh (Exhibition of Economic Achievements), will become the largest wheel in Europe (140 meters) overtaking the famous London Eye.
