Samarkand International Terminal has been commissioned in March 2022. The terminal in the form of an open book is welcome 800 passengers per hour.
To ensure power supply of this object, SVEL Group has delivered four dry-type cast resin transformers, 2,000kVA/10kV, and two dry-type cast resin transformers, 1,600kVA/ 10kV.
With due regard to the local climate (max summertime air temperature in Samarkand +40°C), it was critical to ensure high overload capacity of the transformers.
This delivery is effected via Enter Engineering Group as the general contractor, a partner of SVEL Group since 2018, when several projects are completed, i.e. HUMO ARENA Ice Palace, Samarkand Tourist Center, and the office building for Enter Engineering Group.
