This extension covered all models of current transformer (CT) and voltage transformer (VT) to allow their application in Kazakhstan, Usbekistan, and Belarus. Since 2010, SVEL Group has successfully delivered their equipment to these countries.
As compared with the main electrical equipment of a substation, CT and VT are rather small, though one could hardly overestimate their significance.
These devices are intended to:
- Transmit signals to measuring and protection instruments located at the monitoring, control & protection boards and cabinets
- Smart electricity metering
- Isolate secondary circuits from the high voltage
Altogether, the product line of SVEL Group includes more than 30 types of instrument transformer.
