The certificate confirms that the company has implemented the quality management system that complies with the international standard ISO 9001, meaning that SVEL Group produces high-quality products.
Initially, SVEL Group was issued the QMS certificate in 2007. For their renewal, an annual audit is carried out, to confirm all the processes are maintained and being improved. The certificate is supposed to be reissued every three years. This year the audit took place May 30 to June 3, involving almost all divisions of the company.
Bureau Veritas’ auditors highlighted the strengths of SVEL Group:
- Automation, and implementation of software.
- Incentive activities for personnel involvement: the efficiency suggestions project, the onboarding for new employees. Support of the in-house training center.
- Reduced failures during product testing. Reduced number of critical nonconformities. Increased level of implementation of corrective actions to 87% (as compared with 75% last year).
