First 630 MVA Three-phase Transformer of a new generation is commissioned at Krasnoyarsk Hydro Power Station. This transformer is equipped with the advanced control and measuring instruments for monitoring and diagnostics of transformer equipment. It ensures online monitoring the parameters of the equipment, and forecasting their technical condition. This facilitates timely in-process detection and elimination of defects.
‘Replacement of power transformers at 220kV power supply spot groups at this Hydro Power Plant is one of the key projects under En+ Group's New Energy Program aimed at improving efficiency, reliability and safety of the power plant equipment. The first stage of the complex project is successfully completed, the transformer passes all applicable tests, it fully meets all the declared technical and electrical characteristics. We plan to completely replace the existing transformers in Krasnoyarsk within the next eight years’, said Mikhail Hardikov, Manager of En+ Group's Power Business Line.
