On April 1, two Moscow Metro stations, Mnevniki and Narodnoye Opolchenie, opens as a part of the western section of Bolshaya Koltsevaya Line.
Power supply of these stations is ensued by SVEL equipment – ten dry-type cast resin transformers, 20 kV, 63kVA to 2,500 kVA, installed at both station.
Since 2008, SVEL Group regularly and successfully supply equipment for Moscow Metro.
Historical note:
In 2011, Bolshaya Koltsevaya Line is initiated to be the world's largest underground construction project. Narodnoye Opolchenie and Mnevniki are the first metro stations in the Khoroshevo-Mnevniki District, hosting about 174 thousand citizens, and the population is planned to increase by 76 thousand.
